Responding to voice
Our bots also have the ability to respond with text to users’ voices in rooms. This feature can be enabled when adding a bot to a room so that you have control over which rooms you may or may not want your bot to respond to voice.

Important to note that the “spiciness” toggle in bot settings will also apply to this feature as well. You can learn more about this feature in our article on Creating Bots.

When a bot has “Respond to Voice” enabled, it will respond in chat via text using the same reporting and AI transparency measures we have for generating text broadly.

Note: we are currently testing with a select number of bots the ability to respond in their own unique voice.
